Christina & Florian. Forest wedding tent camp Baierz Friedrichshafen

By WeddingNo Comments

To the moon & back

This celebration was proof of the love for the community, nature and new emerging life. Throughout the day there were so many heartfelt moments that reflected the strength and character of this love between Christina & Florian and the incredible support of their community.

Christina and Florian’s wedding day at the Baierz campground near Friedrichshafen, Germany, was an unforgettable event that embodied their love for each other and their fellow man. As photographers, we care deeply about the intimacy of these moments and that seemed to be their central theme. Every second of the day had a deep meaning and significance that highlighted the intimacy and bond between Christina & Florian.

Heartfelt moments including the surprise news of Christina’s pregnancy during the group photo, the homemade wedding bands like at a festival, and the personalized tents for all their guests. This day was an indescribably beautiful way to remember their beautiful love and celebrate with the people who have been with them through their life together. It was an honor to document this story and celebrate two great people together.

Jacky & Daniel. Iceland ice wedding

By WeddingNo Comments
Eishöhle - Wasser

It is an absolutely magical experience to get married in a glacier cave in Iceland.

The breathtaking beauty of the icy environment merges with the meaningful ceremony to create an unforgettable setting for tying the knot. Sounds totally romantic! Exposed to the elements, getting married on a wild island surrounded by ice sounds kind of extreme though, doesn’t it? For us it sounds above all very intimate and individual.

Together with Jacky & Daniel we dared this adventure! The two offer photography trips to breathtaking locations and also met through this passion. In addition, there is the love for Iceland, which connects our couple. This wild land has also cast its spell on us, because around every bend in the road a new, wonderful landscape unfolds, home to countless waterfalls, hot springs or a geyser. Here you can experience nature in its most pristine state; largely left to its own devices and hardly conquered by man. We fell in love right away!

After arriving in Keflavík, driving to our glacier guide and spending the night at the Guest House, we set out well before sunrise. Now this sounds extreme again for one of the most beautiful days in life – however, the Icelandic sun in December rises only in the late morning and sets again shortly after noon. Since the last kilometers could only be managed in an off-road vehicle with huge tires, we collected the Icelandic registrar and started the bumpy road to the edge of the glacier.

When you enter the cave, you are surrounded by a world of shimmering ice. The glittering walls reflect the incident light and create an enchanting play of colors. The echo of one’s own footsteps reinforces the silence and gives the moment a special intimacy. It is as if nature itself witnesses the love of two people.

The extreme side of the coin: It was bitterly cold, wet and icy. So at first glance not ideal conditions, but we were well prepared: Spikes to hold the ice underfoot, good clothes against the cold and seals on the equipment. The adrenaline was also there and now the full concentration was on our bride and groom and their families. Jacky and Daniel disappeared once again a little deeper into the cave to change clothes and then the wedding could begin.

According to Icelandic customs, the actual wedding ceremony lasts only a few moments. One kiss and the exchange of rings later, the two were already husband and wife. Then followed pictures for eternity in this insane environment. Slowly we all realized where we were and what we were experiencing here.

After the ceremony there was an opportunity to explore the cave and marvel at the fascinating formations of the glacier. It’s an opportunity to experience the raw beauty of nature firsthand and celebrate the beginning of life’s journey together in an adventurous way.

You are planning something special too? The best thing is to write us a message right away. We are looking forward to it!

Betty & Rosie. LGBTQ wedding in Gamburg

By Wedding

Timeless & Familiar

When the leaves started turning red and the wedding day was just around the corner: we knew this was going to be a special fall wedding! It was an event filled with so many incredibly beautiful moments that I had to fight tears most of the time!

But let’s start at the beginning: We met at a dinner. Even then it was clear: it will be a small, intimate wedding with photos that are as timeless and natural as the two of them. Spending time together with family and friends is always the focus for the two. That’s why we didn’t plan an extensive couple shoot but tried to capture all the small details and important moments of the celebration and community.

Station: Coming home in autumn. The wedding took place in the “Gamburg Station” on the romantic road, which is a listed building. In this sandstone-colored house, the two married, with great attention to detail. So they chose the perfect place, for their own personal autumn celebration in a smaller circle.

Already at our arrival, alpacas greeted us on the autumnal pasture next to the house. Apple trees were found in the fields and ripe apples were everywhere. By the time Rosie welcomed us in her red plaid pajamas, we already felt like family. This is how it should stay the whole day and for that we would like to thank them again.

With great attention to detail

Each element of this autumn celebration, had an important meaning:
From the small pictures on the walls to the lovingly decorated tables, designed to match the autumn mood. Betty in tweed suit, Rosie with white red dress. It was a picture-perfect fall wedding. Our cameras just floated from table to table, photographing every little detail.

Intimate, small & familiar

In a small family circle, the wedding couple and their guests met the day before in the historic building. The small wedding party could thus already spend some time together and get in the mood for the festivities. It was important to us to document precisely this intimate mood as naturally as possible.

Like two birds, we silently flew around the action. We secretly took pictures through window panes, doors … in such a way that we were hardly noticed. Even though Fabian and I were there as photographers, we felt like family members. We ate and drank together with family, laughed together with friends and had a blast doing it. Also for us this wedding became so unforgettable.

During the emotional speech of the wedding couple, the children romped around our feet laughing. But you hardly got it, because the whole room was filled with emotions. Tears were flowing with happiness.

With camera & drone

While I photographed the intimate moments of the friends in the small common room, Fabian flew with the drone over the autumnal scenery.
We were everywhere where something was happening. Sometimes together for the second point of view, sometimes alone to continue telling the story in two places.

We feel it is a great honor to be able to document this strong love and experience the emotions that these families and friends feel for each other.

„Everything. Always. Forever“
